4th Pakistan Navy (PN) – Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) Expert Level Staff Talks were held at NHQ, Islamabad. The talks were co-chaired by Director General Operations & Plans Cdre Abdullah Bin Sultan Al-Jabri from RNO side and Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Cdre Rao Ahmed Imran Anwar from PN side.
During the talks, matters related to operations, exercises, training and technical cooperation were discussed while focusing on Research and Development (R&D) and indigenous projects currently under development by Pakistan Navy.
Briefings were provided to the visiting Omani delegation, underscoring Pakistan Navy’s commitment to innovation, self-reliance and advancement in maritime capabilities.
The visiting dignitary called on Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff (Training & Personnel), Vice Admiral Muhammad Saleem. Discussions focused on enhanced bilateral collaborations and training opportunities. The Omani delegation also visited National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), where they were briefed on academic and research initiatives in maritime policy and strategy.
The Expert Level Staff Talks reaffirmed the enduring naval partnership between Pakistan and Oman, contributing to regional maritime stability and cooperation.
