Tajikistan has secured second place among the safest countries globally, according to Gallup’s Global Safety Report – 2025. The survey, which covered 142 countries, revealed that 95 percent of Tajik citizens feel completely safe walking alone at night.
The list of the world’s top ten safest countries is led by Singapore (98 percent), followed by Tajikistan (95 percent), China (94 percent), Oman (94 percent), Saudi Arabia (93 percent), Kuwait (91 percent), Norway (91 percent), Bahrain (90 percent), and the United Arab Emirates (90 percent).
This remarkable achievement is attributed to the effective policies of President Emomali Rahmon, under whose leadership Tajikistan has established itself as a nation of peace, stability, and social trust. The country’s calm cities and villages, together with its traditional hospitality, are increasingly recognized as core societal values on the international stage.
Tajikistan’s consistent inclusion in the global top ten reflects the international community’s recognition of its efforts in maintaining security, safeguarding citizens’ rights, and strengthening public order, while also enhancing its positive image worldwide.
It was earlier reported that Singapore topped the global safety ranking for the 12th time since 2006.
