Tajikistan, Pakistan Hold 8th Joint Commission Meeting to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

Dushanbe, Clear Skies Magazine: The eighth meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan was held in Dushanbe on Tuesday, with both sides reviewing collaboration across a wide range of sectors and exploring new avenues for partnership.

According to Tajikistan’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, energy, education, banking, science and technology, tourism, youth policy, sports, transport, and communications.

Participants discussed ongoing initiatives and opportunities to further strengthen economic and technical ties between the two countries, underscoring their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Officials said the outcomes of the meeting are expected to facilitate the implementation of new joint projects, create favorable conditions for deeper collaboration, and identify additional areas of partnership aimed at advancing the shared interests of Tajikistan and Pakistan.

The meeting reflects the continued efforts of both countries to strengthen bilateral relations and promote cooperation across key sectors of mutual importance.
