Islamabad: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to review and strengthen bilateral ties. During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the current momentum in Pakistan-UK relations and discussed key upcoming engagements to advance mutual cooperation. In addition, they exchanged perspectives on evolving regional developments, with DPM Dar underscoring the urgent need to ease tensions and reiterating that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to lasting peace.
