Vladimir Kolokoltsev emphasised that bilateral cooperation in law enforcement is firmly rooted in the friendly, constructive and mutually beneficial relations between Russia and Pakistan. He noted that Russia regards Pakistan as an important partner in countering the politicization of international law enforcement cooperation, including within the United Nations.

The talks focused on combating international organized crime, terrorism and extremism, the illicit trafficking of weapons and drugs, and the growing threat of cybercrime, including telephone scams, phishing and cryptocurrency pyramid schemes.

The Russian Interior Minister stressed the importance of prompt information exchange, closer cooperation through Interpol and sharing expertise in cybercrime investigations.

Vladimir Kolokoltsev also welcomed bilateral cooperation in professional training and expressed Russia’s readiness to expand professional development programs for Pakistani specialists.

In conclusion, the Russian Minister thanked Minister Naqvi for the constructive talks and reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies.
