U.S. Congressmen said their visit to Pakistan was highly successful & significant for both countries.
Commenting on the visit, Congressman Lieutenant General (R) Jack Warren Bergman stated: “The importance of the relationship between Pakistan and the United States is undeniable, and its significance cannot be underestimated in the future.”
He added that the positive effects will be felt not only by Pakistan and the United States but also by other developing regions of the world.
Bergman further elaborated on specific areas of collaboration: “We are working in specific sectors and promoting partnerships. Mining is a key area in this partnership. These initiatives will lay the foundation for strong industries in the future that will benefit the entire world, including Pakistan. New mining methods, new products – all these elements are crucial for our productive future. The relationship between Pakistan and the United States is essential because we both believe in freedom.”
Congressman Thomas Richard Swazi* began his remarks with “Assalamu Alaikum” and expressions of gratitude: “The visit to Pakistan was fantastic. We are grateful for the hospitality of the Pakistani people. We must build the relationship between Pakistan and the United States on strong foundations. We see Pakistani expatriates as ambassadors who have achieved success in our country. Pakistanis possess numerous virtues; they are hardworking, educated, and family oriented. Both countries will work together for economic security and promote economic activity.”
Congressman Jonathan Luther Jackson also expressed his delight at the visit: “I witnessed a practical demonstration of faith, unity, and discipline in Pakistan. There is a golden opportunity to further strengthen our relationship with Pakistan, based on our shared history and mutual trust. I am confident that Pakistan’s future is extremely bright. I visited religious sites in Pakistan and also met with top Pakistani officials. I am committed to further strengthening and expanding our relationship with Pakistan and supporting its successes.”
The meetings between high-ranking political and military leadership in Pakistan will further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
