Indian media is once again spreading reports that New Delhi is considering ending the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC). This comes alongside claims that 28 tourists have been killed in Pahalgam, in Indian-occupied Kashmir, allegedly by Kashmiri separatists.
Once again, India is using a tragic incident to further its political agenda — shifting global focus away from its brutal occupation of Kashmir and igniting war hysteria against Pakistan.
Here are the facts:
1. India’s oppression in Kashmir is no secret. Daily human rights violations, extrajudicial killings, mass detentions, and the silencing of Kashmiri voices have been ongoing for decades under Indian occupation.
2. Pakistan has always advocated for peace, but India continues to sabotage every dialogue opportunity and stage false flag operation to manipulate international opinion.
3. The Pahalgam incident is tragic and deserves condemnation, but jumping to blame Pakistan or the Kashmiri resistance without investigation is a classic tactic by India to cover up its failures in the region.
4. If India makes the reckless move of ending the ceasefire, it won’t just endanger regional peace — it will ignite consequences India may not be ready to face. Pakistan is fully capable and always ready to defend its sovereignty and people.
