Dushanbe, Clear Skies Magazine: President of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, chaired a working meeting to review preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the country’s State Independence and discuss other pressing national issues.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly and Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, along with several senior government officials.
Participants discussed measures to accelerate ongoing construction and development projects, preparations for the nationwide celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence, and readiness for the 2026–2027 autumn and winter season.
During the meeting, President Rahmon instructed relevant authorities to expedite the construction and completion of enterprises, institutions, and other infrastructure projects planned under the national program dedicated to commemorating the milestone anniversary of State Independence.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with established standards to provide a worthy celebration of the historic occasion.
Special attention was also given to preparations for the upcoming winter season and the new academic year. President Rahmon stressed the need to intensify efforts toward the repair, modernization, and adequate provisioning of educational and healthcare institutions across the country.
The discussions underscored the government’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure, improving public services, and ensuring comprehensive readiness for both the Independence anniversary celebrations and seasonal challenges.
