Appointment of the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Ulemas

 

“His Majesty King Mohammed VI, received on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, Mohamed Yssef, former Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema, whom the Sovereign decorated with the “Wissam Al Arch (Grand Officer)”, in recognition of the commendable services he rendered to his Religion, his Country, and his King, during the various missions and responsibilities he assumed.
Subsequently, His Majesty the King received El Yazid Er-Radi, whom the Sovereign appointed Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Ulema. On this occasion, His Majesty the King, imparted His High Guidelines to Er-Radi so that the Council may fulfill its missions in promoting the Holy Muslim religion, imbued with values of the middle path and moderation, and safeguarding the Kingdom’s religious constants.”
