General Tokel held a substantive meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff of Pakistan. His engagements with Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, were also highly constructive and yielded positive outcomes, further strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation.
On the second day of the visit, the meeting with Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif was highly productive. We reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing bilateral defence ties.
The visit to the National Defence University (NDU) provided a valuable opportunity to discuss avenues for enhanced cooperation in military education and professional training.
