Islamabad, Clear Skies Magazine: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a detailed telephone conversation late last night with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi.
During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on the overall regional situation, ongoing tensions, and matters related to the promotion of peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan briefed the Iranian side on its diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and encouraging meaningful dialogue between relevant parties.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in the region and its sincere diplomatic and mediation efforts.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s position that sustainable resolution of regional issues can only be achieved through dialogue and diplomacy.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue joint efforts for regional peace and stability and agreed to further strengthen bilateral diplomatic engagement.
